the School
The Academy of Ballet Arts offers multi-dimensional training in kinderdance,
ballet, tap, jazz, modern dance, drama, and a special class in athletic
coordination for boys. The programs are designed for students aged
3 through adults who wish to expand their knowledge and experience
in the fine arts. Students increase their physical coordination and
overall fitness, gain a positive self-image and obtain the physical
and aesthetic benefits found only in the study of dance.
Faculty
The faculty of the Academy of Ballet Arts Inc. is committed to providing
students with quality instruction needed to develop proficiency in
dance, nurture a love of the arts, and instill self-confidence and
a sense of accomplishment. Our instructors are carefully screened
to insure that they are qualified and experienced in performance as
well as educated in the teaching of dance.
The
Academy Dance Company
The Academy Dance Company is available by audition for the dedicated
dancer embarking on a professional course of study or for the student
wishing to experience dance as a performing art. Company membership
permits the students to experience teamwork, make enduring friendships
and also acquire performing skills required in the professional dance
world.
Tuition
and Fees
Registration fee of $20.00 and one month's tuition is due at the time
of registration. If you enroll before July 1st, the registration fee
is $15.00. Tuition and Fees are non-refundable.

Tuition
is due the first class of each month. A late fee of $12.00 will be
added to your account for payments received after the 10th of the
month. There will be a $15.00 charge for all returned checks. Tuition
is based on nine equal payments.
Recital
Each class will have a performance at the end of the season. Costumes
are ordered at the expense of the students and become their property.
A $30.00 deposit for each costume is due with your October tuition.
The balance is due in January. The recital fee of $10.00 per student
is due with the October tuition.
Required

All Ballet students: Pink shoes and tights
All Jazz students:
Any color leotard and tights
Attendance
Attending class regularly and on time is extremely important if you
are to keep up with the technical progress of the class. If you do
need to miss please make up your class as soon as possible.
The Academy of
Ballet Arts will follow the Cobb County school system for winter and
spring holidays. We are open when the schools are closed for teacher
work days.
