In order to become board certified colon and rectal surgeons, our doctor has both completed accredited residences in general surgery prior to subspecialty fellowship training in colon and rectal surgery. Areas of special expertise include:  cancers of the colorectum, anal canal tumors, the surgical management of inflammatory bowel diseases such as ulcerative colitis and Crohn's, and benign disorders such as diverticular disease.
