| 1) | Consults and opinions on failed foot surgery. |
| 2) | Bunion surgery: (Kalish Osteotomy): The Kalish Osteotomy (2000 plus case study available on request) utilizes the A.0. Swiss method of fixation. Patients are able to return to a shoe in 2-4 weeks post-operatively. |
| 3) | Heel pain: 85% of all heel pain can be treated non-surgically with injections and orthotics; 15% are treated by small-incision surgery half-inch scar and intraoperative fluoroscopy (continuous x-ray visualization). |
| 4) | Diabetic wound care and limb salvaging operations, including collapsed flattened diabetic feet. Treatment involves the use of the Russian technique of Ilizarov, which avoids long-term casting. These techniques often save the patient from amputation and permit early weight bearing. |
| 5) | Painful nerve disease, including post-scar revisions and injections for pain and neuroplasty. Diabetic neuropathy treatment for burning and numb feet. |
