From the opening hole to the beautiful 18th, Bear Creek epitomizes Georgia Piedmont golf. Narrow twisting fairways, defined by hardwoods, pines and tumbling streams, lead dramatically to large undulating greens.

The fairways and tees are Tif 419 and the greens are Crenshaw bent. Two rolling streams, wetlands and ponds are used on all but two holes to lend challenge and beauty to the course.

The par three 12th is the signature hole and captures in its 170 yards, almost all the features of the other 17. Your shot must clear a large pond, a small greenside bunker and a natural granite side wall. There on the green you may have a 100 foot putt with subtle breaks to navigate for your birdie.

This course is a wonderful test, but with its multiple tee locations is imminently fair. It has just opened and is a definite must play.
