| Daniel Hagen is a 12 year-old Rockbridge Renaissance artist. His artwork entitled, "My Backyard", is a pencil rendition of a lanscape scene. He enjoys soccer and baseball and is a collector of BEANIE BABIES. He aspires to become a well-known artist and hopes to continue to find a way of self-expression through art. When Daniel puts his mind to creating, he is unstoppable and can bring forth some very dynamic and inspirational artwork. Keep a look out for this one folks! | Nicolas
Willard is a 12 year-old Rockbridge Tenaissance artist. His
friends call him Nick. He is considered by the staff to be anunusually
multi-talented artist who seems to master any medium he touches
with precision and excellence. He has earned a reputation among
his peers as one who is "Tight of Crunk". He has been
drawing since age five and loves working with his favorite mediums
of pen and pencil. He has many a piece featured. his art sells quickly
because of the realism and passion in which he draws. Look out for
this one, he's awesome! |
Robert Rowell is a senior at Stephenson Hight School and is a very talented artist. A "gentle giant", his power is in the pen. He has displayed a love for art and has a rare ability to reproduce his art at a grand scale. He plans to work this summer and then attend an art college. We wish him the best of sucess for the upcoming years.
Grace Ogunyemi is a 9th grader at Stephenson Hight School from Lagos, Nigeria. A ceramist, and very talented writer, she finds pottery to be her avenue of self expression. She says it provides her an outlet for relaxation and allows her to continue to express her African culture through her works of art. She states that, "I want people to look at her work and see the sensitive, positive and dynamic expression of a young lady going somewhere in life." Look for more of her work in the future. |
Osianchi
Ugwumandu is a senior a Stephenson High School. When I met this
quiet, soft-spoken lady, one would not realize the power she has
when a medium is placed in her hands for self-expression. She has
exposure and excellence in practically all the mediums. Nigerian
born and American reared, she has managed to maintatin her African
influence throughout herartwork. One of her aspirations is to become
a Cartoonist-Animation Designer. One of six children, her mom describes
her as independant, self-starter and determined. Osii plans to attend
Georgia South College majoring in Computer Science and Management.
We look forward to seeing more of her work in the future. |

| Dominique Harmon is a 12 year-old Stone Mountain Middle School artist who has found her calling as an artist. She captures through pencil her expressions and quickly converts her thoughts and feelings to paper. She has grown leaps and bounds under the direction of Jermaze Wade. Saytue Saye is a 6th grader in Rockbridge's literary Arts Program sponsored by CANAAN KIDS. She was born in Liberia, Africa but resides in Stone Mountatin with her family. SHe is a very gifted poetess, who is a very who is about to freely pour her soul onto paper. She writes about her feelings and emotions and captivates her readers with her simplistic style of writing. When she realxes and thinks on experiences in life, her literary juices start to flow from her heart onto paper. Sayto aspires to become an actress and to one day perform on Broadway an in movies that make the viewers feel something deep within awaken. CANAAN KIDS delight to spend time developing her gifts as a poetess and hopes to see her accomplish her goals. |
