History
 Cleckley
& McGee, Inc. was founded in 1944 by H. A. McGee, Jr. and
James Fisher Cleckley. Today the company is owned and managed
by Edgar C. McGee, President. The son of one of the original founders,
H. A. McGee, Jr.
Using the principles of quality, schedule, and price, Cleckley
& McGee has grown from a local general contracting company to
one with projects throughout the Southeast, with an additional
full range of construction and development services. Today Cleckley
& McGee has the capacity to offer owners complete professional
services from site selection assistance, regulatory agency processing,
to traditional general construction.
Edgar and James McGee have guided the company to this forefront
with the use of computers and modern technology while still maintaining
the personal involvement that owners deserve. The technological
advancements have tremendously expanded the capacity of the company;
however, the development of an excellent staff allows us to remain
flexible and very responsive to owners' needs on each and every
project.
Satisfied owners and many repeat customers are the history and
future of Cleckley & McGee. The company does not attempt to serve
every potential customer, only those who need the high quality
