| Aftercare Program Haisley-Hobbs hopes to promote healing through understanding and education. We want people to work through grief, and readjust to life by mutual support and encouragement. We wish to create an atmosphere of understanding and friendship. The Aftercare Meetings are held the first Tuesday evening of each month at Haisley-Hobbs Family Center from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Anyone is welcome to attend. They also offer bimonthly topical meetings on such issues as Coping with the Holidays, Exercise and Stress, Cooking for One, etc. Please contact the funeral home for information on the next session. | Family Center Haisley-Hobbs features a unique concept in funeral services. We know it is not always easy or convenient to gather at the family home, or the home of a friend. The Family Center is designed to provide a reception area after the service. At the Family Center, we can assist you with the serving of beverages and food, from snacks and light lunches to full course meals. We can help you identify your specific needs, and provide the support to be certain they are met. We feel that this is an important time that allows mourners to tell stories about the person who died, to cry, to laugh, and to support one another. It demonstrates the continuity of life even in the face of death. |
