Valise
or Cannister?
All ZODIAC liferafts are available in either a valise or a cannister.
When possible, a cannister is recommended to offer the best
protection against wear and tear and the elements. A cannister
can be left on deck or mounted in the stern of a sailing yacht.
A liferaft in a valise should be protected from the elements
and care should be taken to keep it clear from sharp objects.
It will need to be stored in a location that permits it to be
brought on deck quickly and easily. |
MP
6,8,10 Persons
Specifically intended for the open sea, the MP Open Sea liferafts
exceed international off shore yacht-racing standards. They
conform to the French Merchant Navy's specifications which demand
significantly more than most other maritime organizations: the
highest manufacturing standards and comprehensive equipment
including survival rations. |

Designed for blue water fishing, offshore racing or coastal
navigation, the MP Racing are suited to the pleasure boating
requirements of the UK, Northern Europe, North America, Australia
and the Pacific. They conform to RORC, USSA and ORC (Offshore
Racing Council) specifications. |
SY
6 Persons
The SY 6 is designed for emergency use in coastal waters within
20 miles of a shore line or shipping lanes. It enjoys a distinct
advantage over other manufacturer's inshore liferafts because
it features 2 independent tubes rather than a single tube divided
into 2 side chambers which will list badly if one chamber is
damaged. |
