Dr. Thomas N. Buckley founded Pineville Animal Hospital in July
of 1986. He received his doctorate of veterinary medicine from the
University of the Philippines and has been in small animal practice
in Charlotte for 28 years.
Dr. Dawn Martin joined Pineville Animal Hospital in 1998. Dr. Martin
received her doctorate of veterinary medicine from Ohio State University
in 1990 and then completed an internship at Washington State University
in 1991. She has been in private practice ever since. Dr. Martin
is especially interested in reproduction and pediatrics. She also
has experience in purebred show dogs, serving as show veterinarian
for AKC sanctioned events. Dr. Martin looks forward to contributing
to the quality animal care team at Pineville Animal Hospital.
Dr. Jennifer L. Bryant received her doctorate of veterinary medicine
from Auburn University in 1994. She graduated Magna Cum Laude and
has been working in small animal practice ever since.
Dr. Emy Shepard joined Pineville Animal Hospital as a veterinarian
in June of 1999. She graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in 1995 with
a B.S. in biology. Then she graduated from NC State University College
of Veterinary Medicine in May of 1999. During these school years,
she worked summers at Pineville Animal Hospital from 1992-1997.
Dr. Shepard is interested in small animal dermatology and ophthalmology.
