Your
Consultation...
Initial
consultations as well as any follow up visits are arranged by
appointment only. The center keeps a detailed computerized schedule
of all upcoming patient visits and consultations. Since the doctor's
daily itinerary is usually full, kindly give us 48 hours notice
when canceling a scheduled appointment so that another patient
may use your allotted time. The day of your initial visit, plan
to arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment in order
to complete the patient information and medical history form.
Your initial consultation involves a personal discussion with the surgeon regarding your specific interest in cosmetic surgery. An examination follows to determine if you are a suitable candidate 
to undergo the procedure you are considering. Often, you will
have an opportunity to review videotapes, literature and photographs
to further enhance your education on the subject. |
After the medical portion of the consultation is completed, our patient
coordinator will meet with you to discuss all the administrative issues
related to the surgery. You will be provided with a detailed written
proposal outlining the cost of the procedure you are considering. Should
you desire to proceed with your plans for cosmetic surgery, the coordinator
will then discuss available surgery dates and arrange for preoperative
photography as well as an additional "question and answer session" with
the surgeon.
Plastic surgery is an important personal decision. Our center is committed
to properly educating our patients using the latest information available
on cosmetic surgery.
