Specializing in otorhinolaryngology (ear, nose, and throat) and
plastic and reconstructive sugery, Dr. Kaplan provides conscientious,
complete care to his patients. Conveniently located in the Roper
Medical Office Building, behind Roper Hospital downtown, our office
provides free parking for patients.
Dr. Kaplan accepts most major insurance plans and our office will
file most claims for you. Financing for aesthetic procedures may
be available through the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive
Surgeons (ASPRS).

About
Dr. Kaplan
Dr. Kaplan graduated from the University of Florida with a B.A. in
1967 and a M.D. in 1972. His internship in ear, nose, and throat surgery
was also done at the University of Florida. He served his residency
at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond and completed his training
in 1978. He is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology/Head
and Neck Surgery and the American Board of Plastic and Reconstructive
Surgery.
He
began his career in Jacksonville, Florida in plastic and reconstructive
surgery, serving as the chief of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery
Division of the University Hospital and Director of Residency Program
for the University of Florida during his time there. In 1986, he
moved to Charleston and began his current private practice.

| Dr.
Kaplan is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is affiliated
with several prestigious organizations including the American Society
of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, American Society of Maxillofacial
Surgeons, Southeastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons,
and the Charleston County Medical Association. He recently served
as Chief of Medical Staff at Trident Regional Medical Center from
1993 - 1994. |
