TWO PHASE EXAM
During phase ONE, the initial appointment, a combination of interviews and medical questionnaires, is designed to outline any and all symptoms which might require a special study. Blood studies and urinalysis are carried out. A brief visit is scheduled with the physician in charge in order to determine the urgency of any problem, to obtain pertinent previous records and x-rays and to prepare for any special or unusual problems.
Phase TWO consists of the physical examination and the diagnostic and the therapeutic tests and procedures which accompany it. If the need is not urgent, the patient may be requested to wait until sufficient time is available in the schedule for a complete and detailed examination.
Some individuals desire examinations also for their spouses: these examinations may be arranged simultaneously or separately as the schedule permits.
